Hannover 2000

When I was working at Bizarts Creative, I was tasked to design a mascot that will be used for the Singapore Exhibition held at Hannover, Germany. The design went through a lot of iterations from a bee, an orangutan, a robot, and later into a lion. The idea was to create a character that would embody Singapore. In the end, we ended up with a lion wearing some sort of hi-tech to costume. The character also had to go through a few costume changes to represent a few sections in a video that I was also tasked to animate.

One of the more well known tourist attraction in Singapore at that time was an Orangutan named Ah-Meng. So one of the proposed design was based on her.
